Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with Guests enthusiastically in the Murdock proven sales processes.
  • Engage new guests and market to existing customers to increase monthly sales.
  • Consult guests on automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; and inspecting automobiles in inventory.
  • Demonstrate automobiles by explaining characteristics, test driving, and listening.
  • Close sales by overcoming concerns, mediating the negotiation process, completing sales or purchase contract specifications, and maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Enhance Murdock Auto Team's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different guest requests, addressing customer feedback, and problem solving.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED with valid Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Ability to read and comprehend automobile characteristics and technical features.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Must be able to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be minimum of 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk; sit; use hands, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear and operate office equipment such as computers and printers.
  • Physical ability to move around the dealership and throughout the car lot plus working at a desk in an office setting; frequent walking, standing, and basic communication.
  • Maintain state driver's license and good driving record for test drives and other functions.
  • The employee may be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
